HVAC & Control Systems Upgrade

Because Covergentz has an existing relationship with MM Properties we were asked to retrofit this Class A building in downtown Houston. The owner required an open system, and much of the work was done after hours as the building was occupied. The biggest challenge was the tiered floor levels, the cooling tower on the roof, and the chiller in the basement, but we rose to the challenge and helped reduce energy by nearly 15%. In the end, we replaced pneumatic controls with digital controls, replaced VFDs, optimized programming that increased tenant comfort and decrease tenant complaints.
