30-Story LEED-Certified Office Tower with Advanced BAS Integration
Featuring 900,000 square feet of Class-A commercial space

This state-of-the-art 30-story tower stands as a testament to innovative design, sustainable construction, and smart building technology. Developed by The Howard Hughes Corporation, this iconic structure has transformed the Houston skyline and set a new benchmark for high-performance commercial real estate.

We’re proud to have played a critical role in bringing this building to life through intelligent building automation and integrated controls. Our contributions supported the building’s LEED Certification and long-term energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and operational performance.

Congratulations to The Howard Hughes Corporation for winning the Houston Business Journal’s 2020 Landmark Award in the Project Lease category.

Project Highlights:

Comprehensive BAS Implementation: Installed a full Building Automation System using Trane’s Tracer™ Building Controls, enabling precise, centralized control over critical HVAC equipment—including the chiller plant, cooling towers, pumps, boilers, air handling units (AHUs), variable air volume systems (VAVs), and metering systems.

CO₂ Monitoring for Occupant Health: In response to client needs, Convergentz delivered custom carbon dioxide (CO₂) monitoring solutions in several high-traffic zones to help maintain indoor air quality and support wellness-focused design.

Data Center Environmental Controls: A few years after the core BAS was installed, we returned to expand the system with specialized controls for the building’s on-site data center. This included real-time water leak detection and space temperature monitoring, ensuring reliable protection for sensitive equipment.
